OPIM Innovate is the initiative adopted by the Operations and Information Management (OPIM) Department The initiative was developed to market the Management Information Systems (MIS) major and to bring emerging technology to students and faculty. In the Fall of 2016 we began to make upgrades to our existing OPIM Gladstein Research Lab and build out an Innovation Space as an entry point for our resources. Both spaces are equipped with Virtual Reality (VR), 3D Printing, Internet of Things (IoT), Microcontrollers and Data analytics technology. In these spaces we perform three different tiers of service; walkins, tech demos, and workshops.
