Adjunct Faculty
The UConn Operations and Information Management Department (OPIM) seeks academically and professionally qualified instructors to serve as adjunct faculty in a variety of undergraduate and graduate level courses. Courses are taught in Hartford, Waterbury, Stamford, and Storrs. Recruitment is ongoing and applicants will be considered for future course planning. Adjunct faculty typically teach one – two courses per semester and are paid by the course. Please visit our website for more information about the department.
We are looking for instructors with expertise in Business Analytics, Information Technology, and Operations and Supply Chain Management to teach various subjects in these areas. Our full course listing can be seen at the links below.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
An earned Bachelor’s degree in related field and relevant industry or research experience related to the course content at an AACSB-accredited institution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR GRADUATE COURSES
An earned Master’s degree in related field and relevant industry or research experience related to the course content.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
An earned Ph.D. or other terminal degree in an area relevant to the field; previous teaching experience of relevant courses at an AACSB accredited institution.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
These are temporary positions (teaching one to two courses) for a period of one semester, with the possibility of extension depending upon program needs and available funding. Successful applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview.

Please submit a curriculum vitae and a cover letter indicating the following: which course(s) you seek to teach; what general subject areas you feel qualified to teach; which campus(es) you would be able to teach at; your general availability (days, time of day) for teaching. These items and any other relevant materials (e.g., sample syllabi, teaching evaluations) should be submitted to opim@uconn.edu. This is a pool posting. Screening of applications will begin immediately and will continue until positions are filled. Applicants may be offered positions in future semesters.
